So what am I doing blogging in the wee hours of the night? I’ve just listened to the 2nd Re-mix album from the Lucky Star saga, and if you thought it couldn’t get any better (or worse)… well, it might just have.

The Review:
[1] I’m not really a listener of JAM Project to begin with, but I have listened to some of their work, which I would describe as GAR music (not a bad thing, really). When you put that together with the nonsense that is Motteke, it comes out as… well, many things. A Lucky Star fan might go “HOLY SH— THIS IS FRIGGIN EPIC”, while a JAM Project fan might just facepalm. It’s really up to you. In my opinion, if you thought Motteke couldn’t be sung any cooler, think again. [ニコニコ動画 Link]

[2] Woah, acid trip much? Kind of a spacey sound with a lot of broken record effects and techno beats, along with some Minorun-run bits. Not really my favorite; probably won’t listen to it more than once. [ニコニコ動画 Link]

[3] At first, I thought this might have been interesting, since I like Knee Socks better than Motteke (seriously, why couldn’t THAT be the OP song; it’s so much catchier). It has some funky beats and there are parts that remind me of Tsukasa’s character song, except not as good. Despite the song title, it’s made of 75% Motteke, 10% Knee Socks, and 15% techno beeps. It’s alright, I guess…

[4] This is essentially Motteke+Disco. Really.

[5] Ok, so the beats at the beginning got me going for a bit, and the music the came along with it didn’t sound so bad either. The single character bits were pretty neat, too. One of my favorite Motteke remixes on this CD.

[6] With a title like this, you could not imagine anything short of awesome right? Well, I’m glad to say that they delivered! It’s so neat to see that the producers have been noticing the Kumikyoku craze in NicoNico that they would include a kickass medley remix like this. It probably is the best remixed thing on this CD. Not only does it include Character song bits, but there’s also trancified OST songs as well (even m.o.v.e.’s song from the InitialD reference episode). You really have to listen to it just to get how great it is. I won’t be surprised if a MAD would be out for this song in a few days; maybe even a few people’s own renditions. [ニコニコ動画 Link]
